About our experience !

We are focused on offering practical, economical support to help cushion the impact, of industry wide fire safety reforms to operational and financial plans.

Ethical legal compliance remains our core value.

Our policy is to provide a reliable service, where our clients are satisfied in the knowledge that qualified assistance is at the end of a telephone call or email.

We try to understand the issues and remain prepared to discuss budgets, we welcome discussions regarding long or shorter term agreements,  as well as payment terms.

Our principal engineer is Nigel with 30 years experience in fire safety.

As a mechanical apprentice at Yates Circuit Foil in Silloth he achieved a HNC in engineering at Carlisle Technical College, and more recently an Msc in Fire Safety Engineering.

Nigel, has worked out of fire engineering design and project offices in the UK, mainland Europe, Africa, Central and Eastern Asia, and on contracts in the Middle East.

Having trained in fire system design and project management, Nigel has passed the 3 main fire sprinkler industry examinations at the LPCB, and advanced fire risk assessment training with Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

His work objective is pro-active and pragmatic with a high degree of fire engineering proficiency.

Recent roles:

Fire risk assessment including residential tower blocks on behalf of Rushbrook Consultants (post Grenfell).

TÜV site inspector carrying out reviews of Samsung Semi-conductors sites.

AGOCO senior engineer responsible for fire safety of HQ, logistics centre, and desert based Oil +Gas facilities.

Current responsibilities include:

BRE Global (LPCB) sprinkler design and installation supervisor, inspecting systems for compliance with the LPC rules in accordance with LPCB LPS 1048 scheme.

Providing confidential assistance with dispute resolution of fire safety defects within the construction industry.

Providing fire risk assessment, fire engineered solutions, and confidential advice on all aspects of the fire safety industry to our clients.


FRE have a resource of experienced engineers qualified in fire safety engineering, building services, health and safety,  process engineering and architecture.


We will always do our best to respond quickly and assist, including the provision of direct technical support for our clients.
